A blue moon is a rare and beautiful phenomenon. It is once in a blue moon that something worth mentioning is produced. Blue Moonlight is a gathering place for morsels of thought that shed a unique light...

Hey there Mona, it's eugene from everydaysketch. Sorry it took me so long to get back to you. I just got over a big move from sf to chicago and wasn't able to view my blog very frequently. I just spent all day today getting my computer completely set up and have been viewing the comments on my blog. So, just want to let you know i'm up and running and have gotten a chance to look at your blog. It's quite impressive! Innitially I scanned my work off of an hpscan jet scanner into adobe photoshop. I save them as jpegs at about 96 dpi and upload them onto a website called FLICKR, which is primarily a shared digi-photo website, but you can post jpegs on there. From FLICKR you can easily post pictures onto your blogger account. But since I was slow to get your comment, you have figured out things for yourself.
As for your artwork; the likeness of Lennon and McCartney are strong. Did you do these with charcoal or pencil? I assumed at first they were done in charcoal but now i'm not so sure. The batmobile drawing is impressive to me because vehicles and objects mechanical in nature are not my strong side.
One thing I couldn't stress more is to draw from life. If you can find somewhere to take figure drawing classes that would be awesome. But if not, you can get yourself a handy little sketchbook, take it out to a coffee shop or a place where there are lots of people around and start plugging away. It is an extremely frustrating experience in the beginning but it really trains your eye and gives you great confidence in recording what you see with a pencil or pen.
Anyways, keep up the good work and sorry it took so long to get to you.
